May brings warmer weather. As the days grow longer, we spend more time outdoors and increase our activity. This provides the perfect opportunity to refresh our wellness routines. One of the simplest yet most powerful habits you can build this month is to drink more water.

That’s why we’re inviting you to join the May Hydration Challenge — a 31-day commitment to stay hydrated and feel your best.


💦 Why Focus on Water?


Water does so much more than quench your thirst. It:

  • Boosts energy levels

  • Fights fatigue

  • Helps with digestion

  • Supports weight management

  • Keeps skin clear and healthy

  • Cushions joints and supports muscle function

  • Helps regulate body temperature, especially important as the weather warms up!


Despite all this, many of us still walk around mildly dehydrated every day. But there is good news! Building a water habit is easy, low-cost, and incredibly rewarding.


The May Hydration Challenge: How It Works


For the month of May, your goal is simple: Drink enough water every day, and make it a habit.


Here’s how to get started:


1. Set Your Goal: Start with something manageable. 6 cups a day is a great starting point.

2. Track Your Intake: Use a hydration app, a journal, or a habit tracker. Some people mark their water bottles with time goals (“Drink by 10 AM,” etc.) for a visual reminder.

3. Make It Enjoyable: Try infused waters with fruits, herbs, or cucumber. Use a fun reusable bottle. Sip herbal tea or include water-rich foods like watermelon, cucumber, and oranges.

4. Stay Accountable: Join with a friend or post about your progress. You can also use the hashtag #MayHydrationChallenge to connect with others.


Tips to Build a Lasting Habit

  • Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning

  • Keep a bottle with you all day — at your desk, in your car, at the gym

  • Drink a glass before each meal to help with digestion and portion control

  • Set reminders in your phone
